Desert Teeth Book Announcement!

Boderra Joe is a poet, journalist, and photographer from Bááhazł'ah (Twin Lakes), New Mexico, on the Navajo Nation. She is Diné of the Folded Arms, born for the Water’s Edge clan. She holds an M.F.A and B.F.A from the Institute of American Indian Arts in Creative Writing. She is a recipient of the Fort Sumner Historic Site/Bosque Redondo Memorial Fellowship; Naropa University Summer Writing Fellowship; and Idyllwild Arts Summer Writing Fellowship. She is a member of the Saad Bee Hózhǫ́ Diné Writers’ Collective at Navajo Technical University. Her writing and photography appeared in the forthcoming New Mexico Poetry Anthology, Issue 1; Center for Contemporary Arts Santa Fe; Mass Poetry: The Hard Work of Hope; Tribal College Journal; Yellow Medicine Review; Indigenous Goddess Gang; and Keshmish Knitting from the Rez (an eBook series); Gallup Sun; and Rio Grande Sun.#bookannouncement #dinépoet#navajo#poetrybook#abalonemountainpress
